The Hartford Men in Harmony are...
an all-male a cappella chorus serving the greater Hartford Area. We bring together men of all ages to share the joys of singing in barbershop harmony, to develop their musical ability, and provide entertainment and community service for audiences throughout the area. We aim to be an indispensable part of the greater Hartford performing arts community — artistically, educationally, and through our charitable efforts.
The great American art form known as barbershop gave this group a start more than 70 years ago, and the current membership has expanded the traditional style to mesh with the likes of spiritual numbers, stage musical favorites, big band jazz chart toppers, and even Disney movie favorites.
We engage in music with a dual emphasis on high quality musicianship and an overriding sense of brotherhood and teamwork, in service of producing awesome music together.
